Curious Beginner

An introduction to biohacking for women ready to build longevity with curiosity and intention.

“We’re starting simple, staying curious, and building longevity together.”

The Curious Beginner Series is your starting point for biohacking. If you’ve ever wondered how fasting, labs, supplements, and daily practices fit into longevity, this is where we break it all down into approachable steps.

We know biohacking can feel overwhelming — labs, supplements, fasting, tech, toxins. But here’s the truth: you don’t need expensive gadgets or advanced protocols to start. All you need is curiosity, consistency, and the willingness to track how your body responds.

And while much of the biohacking world is dominated by men — with insights that don’t always translate to women’s biology, rhythms, or cultural realities — that doesn’t mean we throw it all out. Instead, we take what’s useful, question what doesn’t fit, and carve out a space that cultivates our needs.

That’s why Black Girl Biohacking exists: to redefine longevity for women, and especially for Black women, on our own terms.

What You’ll Learn in This Series

  • Fasting Fundamentals: how to try fasting safely and see if it works for your body.

  • Lab Work 101: the top tests every beginner should know, and how to talk to your doctor about them.

  • Daily Routines: simple habits like grounding, hydration, and morning light exposure.

  • Supplements Basics: how to start a supplement stack without overwhelm.

  • Detoxing Your Space: easy swaps for cleaner air, water, and home products.

Why Start Here?

Because biohacking isn’t about doing everything at once. It’s about starting where you are, staying curious, and building practices that support your longevity step by step.

This series gives you the tools to begin without the overwhelm — blending science, culture, and intentional living into an approach that belongs to us.
